June 16th, 2007
It's been a while since I've updated my Korea blog, but that's the way it goes when you leave the country and return to Canada. However, with really big news having happened, it's time to crack open the blog again and report about Yeji and I getting married, on June 16th of this year.
These photos, here, are of us in our hanbok which was sent over from Korea. To see other photos from the wedding, and the honeymoon, check out my other Latenight blogs, Latenight Miramichi and Latenight Halifax, when I get them updated.

The ceremony went well. After wearing tuxedo and wedding dress for the ceremony, we changed into the hanbok for some photos and then to host the reception.

Tree-hugging?
Above is one of the photos taken at my grandmother's home in Napan, New Brunswick, close to the church where the wedding was held.

We've been back from Korea now for over three years and in that time, and it was time to make the commitment. We've each spent about as much time in each other's country as the oter. We'd thought that we'd decide which home offered more comfort and opportunity but at the end, we're about equally happy with either country, provided we're together.
